In addition to the motorcycle mechanic training provided to the men who reside at Mission At The Cross, vocational training in carpentry, masonry, electrical, roofing, plumbing, landscaping, painting, t-shirt imprinting, sheet metal forming and manufacturing, welding, retail, inventory, sales, customer service, and industrial machinery operation is available. By providing this vocational training, our residents become better equipped to obtain full-time employment and become self-sufficient. All training is supervised by qualified Mission At The Cross personnel, skilled volunteers and local businesses and industry. Our goal is to help men become whole again in body, mind and spirit. A necessary part of that goal is to provide the workforce skills that will make our residents attractive potential employees to a business looking to hire a new worker. We reside in the knowledge that we are the hands and feet of Jesus and through the application of biblical principles, we can change lives and outcomes for the betterment of the individual, the family and the community.
